Here we go...

From this point I’m going to move contents of my campaign site to a series of blogs. I don’t think that I know everything and I don’t think that I have all the answers, so I’m providing the blog and some ideas as a starting place. I’m hoping to learn from my fellow citizens.

While I was in the Air Force, I learned a management technique called Total Quality Management (TQM) and loved it. It originated in Japan where it was very successful. I’m going to go into detail about TQM later because it’s a big part of who I am and my style. A part of the TQM concept is that many of the best ideas come from the people who actually do the work day in and day out, rather than the people in upper management.

I think the reason this isn’t more widely used in this country is because in order for it to work, the boss needs to realize that he’s not always right or the smartest guy. The boss being the CEO, the Governor, or a simple candidate.

This is why I want my campaign site to be blog style. I’m interested in your input to refine strategies for Oregon. So...Here’s my blog index. I’ll make sure to date everything and highlight anything new.

Let’s get a little crazy and see what we can do about fixing the mess we’ve let our politicians get us into. In no particular order...here is me...
